Methods of Use

This streamlined audio training takes the power of “Family First Aid with Essential Oils” and flips it inside out to give you the principles of essential oil application that the Minke’s have learned and developed over 13 years. The principles are elucidated by personal stories, but the content has less to do with specific essential oils and more to do with how to use them.

 

 

Peter Minke

Peter Minke received his Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from Texas A&M University in 1992, graduating Magna Cum Laude with University Honors. Dr. Minke went on to complete a Ph.D. from Texas A&M University in Biology in 1998.

Dr. Minke currently works as a bodywork and movement specialist as a certified Aston-Patterning® Practitioner and Licensed Massage Therapist. Peter has over 15 years of clinical experience in private practice, over 1100 hours of hands on training in advanced movement and bodywork, and has helped hundreds of people achieve better body movement patterns for improved quality of life and athletic performance. Peter’s background as a cancer survivor and wellness enthusiast has led him to advocate for health conscious lifestyle choices. Dr. Minke is an international trainer and speaker on numerous wellness topics including plant-based diet, non-toxic lifestyle, stress management, therapeutic use of essential oils, and cleansing.

Having lived overseas for eight of his first sixteen years, Peter’s experiences growing up have provided a view of the world as a global community. His family returned to the United States in 1985 to Houston, Texas. Peter now considers Bryan, Texas his home where he lives with his wife Amy and their four boys. Peter and Amy enjoy homeschooling and are dedicated to providing an at-home learning environment for their children.

 
Amy Minke

Amy Minke, homeschool mother of 4 sons, is a renowned body movement and health expert. Throughout her career as a health educator, massage therapist, and businesswoman, she has mentored other professionals and clients. She is active in the community – as a homeschool teacher, as a church youth-group leader, as an employer, as a civic volunteer where she has worked with and mentored other therapists and health care providers. She is also deeply involved in supporting pro-life efforts and working with local advocacy groups who are associated with the local Down syndrome support group.

Amy received her bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University in Math with a minor emphasis in French, graduating Cum Laude with University and Foundation Honors. Amy then achieved her master’s degree in Educational Psychology focusing on Research, Measurement and Statistics. She and her husband, Peter, own their own massage therapy business and both specialize in advanced Aston Patterning® body work – specializing in body movement, musculo-skeletal patterns, athletic movement, and visceral work--with over 1,000 hours of hands-on training and 13 years of clinical experience. She enjoys sharing information about therapeutic-grade essential oils and healing processes, is known as a gentle and kind soul, and has a deep appreciation and respect for all people.
